As a result, appointments are available only to patients who meet specific eligibility criteria.

The cost of treatment depends on the care you need.

The area is numbed with local anaesthetic before your extraction, so you shouldn’t feel pain during the procedure, though you may feel some pressure. Your clinician will talk you through what to expect and can discuss further pain relief options if needed.
Most people recover within a few days, though it can take a little longer for the socket to fully heal. Your dentist will give you specific aftercare advice, including how to keep the area clean and what to avoid while it heals.
It’s best to stick to soft, cool foods for the first day or so and avoid hot drinks, alcohol and using a straw, as these can disturb healing. Your dentist will give you full aftercare instructions tailored to your extraction.
