Our aim

Helping children feel confident about visiting the dentist.

Tooth decay is one of the most common childhood health conditions, but it is largely preventable. By working together, we can help protect your child’s teeth and support their long-term oral health.

01
A Calm, Friendly Welcome
We take time to help every child feel safe and relaxed from the moment they arrive. Our friendly team explains each step in simple, age-appropriate language and allows children to become comfortable at their own pace.
02
Building Confidence Together
Positive early experiences can help children feel confident about visiting the dentist throughout their lives. We use patience, encouragement and plenty of reassurance to make appointments as comfortable and stress-free as possible.
03
Healthy Habits for Life
We provide practical advice on brushing, diet and caring for growing teeth. By making oral health education simple and engaging, we help children and parents prevent dental problems and build healthy habits at home.

Children’s Dentistry FAQs

Things patients often ask.

At what age should my child first see a dentist?

It’s recommended that children visit the dentist from around their first birthday, or as soon as their first teeth appear. Early visits help your child get used to the dental environment and allow us to monitor their teeth and jaws as they develop.

How often does my child need a dental check-up?

This depends on your child’s individual oral health, and your dentist will recommend a suitable interval after their first visit. Regular check-ups allow us to monitor tooth development, spot early signs of decay and provide age-appropriate advice.

My child is nervous about visiting the dentist – can you help?

Yes. Our team is experienced in helping anxious children feel at ease and will take things at your child’s pace, explaining each step in a friendly, reassuring way. Bringing your child along to your own appointments from an early age can also help them feel more familiar with the practice.
