It’s common to need a few weeks to adjust to new dentures, particularly when it comes to eating and speaking. Your mouth will gradually adapt, and our team can offer advice and adjustments if you’re struggling.
Dentures should be cleaned daily using a soft brush and a denture-specific cleaner, and ideally removed at night to give your gums a rest. Your dentist or dental therapist can show you the best way to clean and store your particular dentures.
Yes, the shape of your mouth changes gradually over time, which can affect how well your dentures fit. Regular dental check-ups allow us to monitor the fit and let you know if adjustments, relining or a replacement set are needed.
